Another amazing article, Gene. Every member of the Roman Catholic Church needs to read this…… I mean REALLY read this and digest the huge scope of sexual abuse. The effects it has on the life of victims are both devastating and life changing. The truth about how these cases are handled when reported needs to come out. The constant cover covering up, dismissing and silencing deepens our wounds, and widens the gaping holes in our hearts.

As a victim survivor,I have dealt with the ugly effects of shame resulting in my abuse. I can honestly say that I am ashamed at my church for the continued crushing effects the abuse has when it continues to be covered up.

We deserve so much more than this…. We deserve to be heard, to be seen and to see justice.

Thankyou, Gene, for writing this article and your continued fight in this tremendous battle.

As Catholics, we have a moral obligation to pray for our Holy Father, the vicar of Christ on earth, no matter how fallen he may be. We must pray for his soul, for his conversion, for God to guide him in the truth. As much as we may disagree with Pope Francis, he is still our Holy Father and deserves our prayers. We must pray for his spiritual strength during his time of illness and for his soul.

I pray for Pope Francis to recover his health and publicly confess his sins to save Jesus’s Church

I would say that’s never wrong to pray that God grants him the grace of body, soul, and spirit he needs most at this moment. Leave it to God which grace to grant. Also, May God grants him the grace to accept the grace, and the grace to accept that grace, and so forth and so on until he does.

It’s a prayer I’ve come to ask for myself too.

I think there are more people praying for the fake pope to meet his maker.

The Pope is an evil woke contrarian, and the Catholic Church will start to heal when he is replaced by a true Christian man with morals and a true understanding of a religious calling.

Father, thank-you for you service in the US military. Four of my brothers and I served also.

I always appreciated having the opportunity for confession and Communion when deployed. I am 9th of 10 kids from urban poor Irish Catholic family. We pay little attention to the pope and much more to our local priests. Ditto that our nuns from grades 1-12 were a much more critical experience and education than anything from the Vatican.

I don’t wish the pope ill. I barely knew his name.

Lime most people, I pray for his conversion, and his overall health (spiritual, mental, physical), and it is a real battle to make myself do that!

Thanks very much, Father Gomulka. As regards Pope Francis' belief in Hell, it is not just that Scalfari unrecorded "interview" in 2018. Yes, I remember the Times of London headline on Good Friday, 2018. "Pope Francis 'abolishes Hell'".

Poor old Cardinal Nichols of Westminster was brought onto the lunchtime news on BBC Radio 4 to explain matters. I remember secular newsreaders looking, er, perplexed as they read that news. You did not need a PhD in theology to work out that this was an all-time cracker of a story, on a par with Mother Teresa being unveiled as a paedophile cannibal.

But it was not just Scalfari and his totally deniable interview. Sandro Magister had already done a totally depressing article on Pope Francis and the Four Last Things. Or rather the Three Last Things, as Hell had quietly vanished down an Orwellian memory hole. If words mean anything, Pope Francis was plainly preaching Universalism at his audiences in late 2017. OK, Your Holiness, so why does the Church and your useless job exist?

https://onepeterfive.com/worlds-end-update-last-things-according-francis/

Sandro was plainly having problems believing what he himself had written. But this deletion of Hell is totally consistent with Francis' more recent teachings. Like the Document on Human Fraternity of Feb 2019 - all religions are willed by God. Or Singapore 2024 - all religions are paths to God. Or his message to the gathering in Albania shortly afterwards - all religions are gifts from God. This last howler was beyond even the Popesplainers' powers to deny.

No wonder Pope Francis is indifferent to his eternal fate. As one guy with whom I was conversing in a combox years ago declared: "Take it to the bank. Pope Francis does not believe in Hell."

I think you’re probably right. When you look back on your life and you see sooooo much hypocritical behavior and lies, you know your “fundamental option” is not worthy of eternal life. Hence, why not solve that problem as pope by just doing away with hell? If you can change the Church’s biblical teaching on homosexuality based in the divine and natural laws, so why can’t you change what Christ and the Church has taught for centuries about hell even if it’s only in your mind so that you can sleep better?

Pope Francis has for decades lived out, covered up, denied, and ignored clerical homosexual predation and destroyed lives which were raped by clerical and mostly homosexual predators. Clearly countless rapes involved heterosexual ordained rapists.

About one week ago it was reported that the homosexual African Queen Wilton Cardinal Gregory was accused of coming on to a young priest for sexual relations in 2019. This cannot be considered a shock. As early as about 1994 this widely know active homosexual bishop was listed among homosexually active unfaithful bishops: men who were crawling in and out of beds with homosexuals. Thus African Queen, like others deserve their days to become days of reckoning with truth. Whether it’s Pope Francis or the African Queen little Wilton Cardinal Gregory Catholics must take control of this ongoing Clerical sex abuse scandal. Prosecution is essential!

Let us pray these ordained sexual predators and infidels get what they deserve. May Miss Justice swoop down into their lives bringing them warrants, hearings, oaths and personal trepidation. May God grant these ordained rapists and promiscuous fools the eternal state their evil lives merit. We ask this in Christ’s name. Amen.
