Great as always, Fr. Gene. We can be certain I think that the various factions of Cardinals and their ideological supporters are hard at work, especially in light of the extended illness of Francis and in light of what everyone now knows the St. Gallen group was able to pull off. Seems to me virtually anything that the ultimate successor may do to limit or slow down the "synodality" movement will open the door to the Germans exiting on the progressive side, and any successor who is young and clearly progressive will push the trad people completely out the door since only the impending passing of Francis into the fullness of revelation has kept them hanging in there. That's why I see a very old, post 80, successor, probably never or only briefly a diocesan bishop in order to minimize any cover-up record, probably an Asian who suffered some persecution so that will dominate the press narrative. I myself would love anyone who would step on that balcony and hold up a book of the Gospels and say, in effect, " THIS is it for me. What is in here is what I believe and will do. " I would love to read your thoughts on all this and what is most likely to happen.

I was very fortunate to have been in Rome, contracted as an interpreter and translator, for the election of Pope John Paul I. He was truly inspiring!

Too bad he ran afoul of Marcinkus and Villot without taking precautions first.

My Swiss Guard friends said that the cardinals who had been running the Church the last years of Paul VI's life wanted someone they thought they could easily control. They panicked when JP I started asking probing questions about the Vatican finances. The corrupt, controlling Curia cardinals made him feel isolated and stressed him out. The poor man had a weak heart that could not take the emotional stress.

Padre, So some say. Yet he took Venice through its bankruptcy due to Vatican Bank fraud.

Word is he removed Villot as Sec. of State news delivered to Villot on Friday, and he killed him that night by poison w or w/o the Gorilla’s (Marcinkus’s) good offices. Albino Luciano was embalmed unprecedentedly the same day (Saturday). Marcinkus despite his many other crimes was a capo for life so died peacefully in Sun City or somewhere similar.

I certainly believe the corrupt cardinals (& Archbishop) panicked. That they did.

Sometimes it is the laity that deny and mute and downplay. Soon after I posted "You Don't Know How Evil Cardinal McElroy Is", I felt like renaming it "You Don't Want to Know How Evil Cardinal McElroy Is."

Yes, one of my favourite movie lines! "A Few Good Men" has a poignant title. As it is set in the Marine Corps, it makes you reflect that the corruption of the best is the worst.

Kevin Bacon, who played the Marine lawyer opposing Tom Cruise's character, later stated how impressed he was with Marine lawyers. They had to be 100% fighting fit for the battlefield and 100% mentally sharp for the court room.

Looking at these lines:

"SNAP recently issued a statement that the next pope “must have no history of committing or covering up sexual abuse, and he must support enacting a binding and universal zero tolerance law for abuse and cover-up in canon law on day one of his papacy.”"

Could we find even one such good man among the 137 Papal candidates? Looking at many of the ghastly crew who will be voting in the Sistine Chapel, you can't help but wish for Jack Nicholson's other unforgettable line from AFGM:

"I'll rip our your eyeballs and piss in your dead skull!"

Closeted homosexuals are allergic to disciplining their sexually active (abusive) fellow priests. One wonders how many of the cardinals and other prelates are carrying on with their own priests or seminarians as we speak.

Took 150+ years to steer the Church into these jagged rocks. It’ll be at least as many years navigating out. That is, if the Lord doesn’t step in and administer immediate battlefield justice.

In Palm Beach Diocese a good Irish priest caught his assistant pastor grooming a 14 yr old parishioner with pornography. He convinced the INDIAN cleric to turn himself in. the pro homo Bishop wrote a scathing letter to be read at all Masses against the Irish priest. as a result he had a heart attack but the Palm Beach Sheriff was grateful and made sure he gave full credit to the Irish pastor to the the Media ,in a front page story wherein, he claimed the priest saved other boys from the same plight. when questioned, the perverted Indian cleric assured the police that the PB bishop knew his sexual preferences from his former Indian Bishop because, "It is part of the culture in my country."

Our own Asian Assistant Pastor abused young teen girls in the Confessional for over ten years. When parents complained during that time to the pastor they were told he would take care of it. He did , after a set of angry parents finally went to the police, he gave his Assistant five K out of the collection plate to skip the country. Tumang skipped the country and is said to be deceased now.The pastor who is deceased now also, was given a sentence of community service in a southern Diocese.....whatever that means?

Unfortunately, stories of abuse, cover-ups, and reprisals against those who report abuse continue widely to this day. You can't report these cases to Rome because the Pope and Vatican officials are worse. The Lavander Mafia runs the Church and Catholics just continue to pray, pay, and obey.

Agreed........there are those who say that Ratzinger is still Pope and was forced out.........HELLO? He was head of the CDF as I recall and did next to nothing about abuse reports .Ditto for JP2.

Fr Gene,

I recall the case of the infamous Bishop Daniel Ryan in Springfield Illinois. Various desperate people tried their best to get rid of this monster and appealed to Rome. They were told (I can't recall the exact sequence of communication) that Rome could do nothing about him. Eh?? He was a bishop only by Papal consent. Rome could get rid of him. In the light of hindsight, I assume that this blocking was due to the Lavender Mafia in Rome. Why would any honest officials protect Ryan?

Expand full comment
Gene Thomas Gomulka's avatar

The answer is that bishops and even popes cover up for homosexual predators like Ryan because they too engaged in or covered up abuse. See: www.gomulka.net/Springfield.pdf

Lucas covered up for Ryan only to have.sex himself with a number of clerics that I identify in my report. Remember too how Wuerl covered up for McCarrick only for Gregory to cover up (and pay off) Wuerl. Now, McElroy was sent to DC to cover up for all three of his predecessors.

Sonetime before the McCarrick scandal broke, my wife and I were casually watching an interview of Cupich and another Cardinal on EWTN. My wife pointed out they were both homosexual. At a parish in Maryland about 35 years ago a male cousin of mine told my mother that there was a priest at their parish that all the teenage boys knew to stay away from.

I wonder if the cover up in the mainstream media is because there is a lot of sexual immorality among the elite media personnel.

Expand full comment
Gene Thomas Gomulka's avatar

I believe that is one reason why the media will not report clerical homosexual predation because it truly demonstrates a relationship between homosexuality and clerical sexual abuse. Closeted Church leaders and the pro-LGBTQ media want to paint homosexuals as harmless despite how gay clergy and Scoutmasters have bankrupted 40 Catholic dioceses and religious orders, not to mention how there were 100,000 abuse lawsuits filed against the Boy Scouts of America.

Poor Mother Angelica , she was clueless to just who the priests were that she allowed to host segments on her channel! Especially on "Light from the East"..........hosted by the priest ( now deceased) from Florida who also edited a homosexual paper that came out around Miami......and he featured Fr Gera of "St Sebastian Angels" fame. A perverted clerical hook up web site busted by Roman Catholic Faithful and Steve Brady. The fat naked priest was well tanned and our priest friend said that was why he surrounded the back yard of his rectory, so he could bask naked in the sun.........You know , DUMB ,as if their parishioners did not all know! Then they wonder where did all the parishioners go?

There were others like a Father Roberts (I think) who gave beautiful presentations on the Rosary, but who went about looking for boys to kiss on the lips.

M Henry's avatar

Roberts did MORE that that.

He set up a recruitment page for young men who wanted to become priests. He also trolled home school families and came to homes where they gathered to "say the rosary" with them.

I know for a fact that the Prelates knew what he was doing long before because, after dining with a Cardinal at a national home school leadership meeting around '94, Afterwards , I went outside of the restaurant and waited under the canopy for my car as it was raining hard. The Cardinal stood next to me and I asked him about the pin on his lapel.....He explained it signified that he belonged to the Order of St George ( I believe that was the name as best I recall) and then I commented that Fr Ken Roberts wears the same. His reply . "HOW THE HELL DID THEY LET HIM IN?"

Just then, my car pulled up and I got in while quite confused and asking myself if the Cardinal was intentionally scandalizing a good priest or what, because .......Fr Tim Byerley, the pastor of a BIG Catholic church in Merchantville, NJ, just earlier had Roberts in a packed church to speak. Roberts stood in the sanctuary displaying his "Reverse Stigmata" to the pew people , as he referred to the white marks in the palms of his hands, explaining that the stigmatized Fr Gino prophesied to him years earlier......BTW Gino was a perverted fake also.

Look at St Michael's Media and how Michael Voris dethroned himself from Catholic stardom.

I know Catholics who told me they now hang their heads in shame having organized and arranged talks by him and others from that organization for their Diocesan Community. church Militant, as they called themselves even arranged profit driven Lenten Retreats at Sea where their followers could dine richly and enjoy drinks while listening to Voris and other "church" luminaries delivering inspiring lectures.

Even after being exposed by one author who knows what happened at Church Militant first hand and also writes on Substack, was surprised to see Voris is still in the business of what several of us refer to as "Sodomites at Sea" !

I believe older Catholics are still looking for and hungry for the church they believed they were raised in and as a result they are grabbing at straw men.

Fr Anthony Cippolla who actually was laicized ,said a Latin Mass on EWTN .He fooled even the best of Traditional Catholics, while hunting for little boys.

He came to a parish where we attended Mass . The pastor asked me to interview him at lunch, as he was asking have a job of teach the home schooled children there, their Catechisms. I glanced over and refused at first stating I could see plainly that the pries was a homosexual and having been exposed to many in Art college ,the ballet and already in the priesthood I did not think it would be a good idea. Still I was urged to do so. Ten minutes into the lunch I was convinced especially while watching the elderly priest with dyed black hair squirming around in his seat when I asked him about his past Diocesan assignments.

Our pastor, who was also the head of Ecclesia Dei at the time, quickly showed him the door when we returned. from lunch.

I found the mother of two boys, now men , whom Cipolla abused and got her to speak to my friend , Mrs Randy Engel who, at the time, believed him to be a persecuted priest himself.

As a result Mrs Engel wrote, "Fr Anthony Cipolla, Setting the Record Straight", that was so moving and well documented that the PA, AG had it read to the Grand Jury during the PA Diocesan Priest Grand Jury Investigation.

Mrs Engel as per her investigation reporting style, told Cipolla she was on to him after speaking to the victims and he, a drug addict, drove into a tree and killed himself.

During the Grand Jury Investigation, a detective brought in pictures of the original evidence taken from Cipolla's rectory and copies of the interrogation and also revealed that there were MULTIPLE other victims, even in other states. The mother of the victims called me to thank me and said she could not believe that even adult men were crying in the jury while the AG's assistant read the report and Mrs Engel's article.

Mark, Just look at the desperate state of the Church of England, especially after the recent departure of the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby. He fell on his sword after the case of the infamous abuser John Smyth.

But this Rev Dan video on Welby shows the utter moral confusion behind the scenes. It is noteworthy for a major religious leader declaring publicly that gay sex is OK. His questioner Alistair Campbell used to be Tony Blair's tough guy when handling the media....
