This article is very revealing. I think the core of the problem is these people have lost their catholic faith and have substituted modernism, apostacy instead. We need a huge awakening in the Catholic Church today. We need to acknowledge that Rome is no longer catholic and most of the bishops too. Europe now is almost totally destroy by the islamic invasion all caused by the apostasy in the Catholic Church.
Right Al! They are practitioners of a false religion and lead unwitting souls to perdition, as Father DeSaye, a former priest of the Novus Ordo religion, incisively explains:
Joe, The quote "the floor of hell is strewn with the skulls of bishops" is attributed to St. John Chrysostom, and sometimes to St. Athanasius, about the immense responsibility of church leaders and the serious consequences of poor leadership and the misuse of power. While the precise wording varies, the core message is that spiritual leaders who fail to live up to their duties, or who lead others astray, face severe judgment.
When I first met with a Benedictine Abbot about becoming Catholic, he told me to start going to Mass with my family and not to hurry into converting. He said if something happens to us before converting, that would be on him. I always took that to mean he would be held accountable if he did things that led his flock astray. Our catechism was the TLM, by assisting at that Mass and reflecting on its prayers for 3 years I was sure the Catholic faith was true. That all began 28 years ago. Because of health problems and other family duties my wife and I now take the easy route of going to a local “modern” Mass, but I can feel my faith slipping. Even though the priest is very orthodox, he needs the help he would get from offering a TLM.
Ominous Signs in the Church – Clerical Abuse, the "Seamless Garment," and the Bible's Call to True Pro-Life Purity
New intel from Monsignor Gene Thomas Gomulka’s Substack—“POPE LEO AND MANY BISHOPS ARE NOT TRULY PRO-LIFE” (October 7, 2025)—is an ominous thunderclap from the Church’s own ranks, exposing the rot at the core. Gomulka, a former Navy Captain, seminary instructor, and Prelate of Honor ordained by St. John Paul II, doesn’t hold back: Pope Leo XIV and prelates like Cardinals Cupich, McElroy, and Gregory are “psychologically incapable” of true pro-life witness, linking abortion indifference to their own grooming and cover-ups of abuse. The “Seamless Garment” doctrine (Bernardin, 1984) equates killing unborn with capital punishment or immigration, but Gomulka calls it a deceptive veil—clerical sex abuse is the ultimate pro-life betrayal, scarring bodies and souls, yet only 8 of 150+ accused bishops laicized. With 40+ U.S. dioceses bankrupt ($10-22B settlements) and 9-10 Catholics leaving per convert, the hemorrhage echoes the Reformation. The Bible cuts through the fog—false shepherds scatter the flock (Jeremiah 23:1), hardened hearts conceal sins (Proverbs 28:13), and the apostasy grows (2 Timothy 3:1-5). Let’s unpack the full passages for clarity and impact, seeing how this “misled soul” guides to perdition. The Word demands purity; the wolf’s garment tears.
False Shepherds Scattering the Flock: The Betrayal of Pro-Life Purity (Jeremiah 23:1-4)
Jeremiah indicts leaders who destroy and scatter God’s people, promising true shepherds to gather them:
“Woe to the shepherds who are destroying and scattering the sheep of my pasture!” declares the Lord. Therefore this is what the Lord, the God of Israel, says to the shepherds who tend my people: “Because you have scattered my flock and driven them away and have not bestowed care on them, I will bestow punishment on you for the evil you have done,” declares the Lord. “I myself will gather the remnant of my flock out of all the countries where I have driven them and will bring them back to their pasture, where they will be fruitful and increase in number. I will place shepherds over them who will tend them, and they will no longer be afraid or terrified, nor will any be missing,” declares the Lord.
Clarity and Impact: The woe (v. 1, hōy, lament) indicts shepherds for scattering (rā‘â, evil destruction), driving away (nāḍāh, banish), and neglecting care (pāqad, visit)—God’s response is punishment (v. 2, pāqad, reckon), gathering the remnant (v. 3, qābats, assemble), and fruitful increase (v. 3, pārāh, bear fruit). True shepherds (v. 4, rā‘â, tend) eliminate fear/missing (’ābād, perish). This echoes Ezekiel 34:1-10’s self-serving shepherds devoured, and John 10:11’s Good Shepherd laying down His life.
Tie to Today: Gomulka’s 150+ accused bishops scatter the flock through abuse cover-ups (only 8 laicized), driving souls away (9-10 leaving per convert)—the “seamless garment” neglects the unborn’s care, equating abortion with immigration. Leo’s indifference (equating death penalty) punishes the vulnerable; the remnant gathers in truth.
Hardened Hearts Concealing Sins: The Apostasy of False Godliness (2 Timothy 3:1-5)
Paul warns Timothy of last-days apostasy, lovers of self denying God’s power:
“But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with such people.”
Clarity and Impact: The “terrible times” (chalepoi, harsh) list vices (v. 2-4: self-love to pleasure-seeking), culminating in form-without-power (v. 5, eidos eusebeias, outward piety denying dynamis, might). “Have nothing to do” (apotrepomai, turn away) is the command—echoes Titus 1:16’s “detestable, disobedient, unfit for any good work” and Jude 1:4’s grace-to-immorality changers.
Tie to Today: The 80% homosexual clergy (Gomulka citing NYT 2019, John Jay 2004 updated 2025) and 150+ accused bishops embody self-love and pleasure over God—form of godliness in “seamless garment” rhetoric, denying power against abortion/abuse. Leo’s equation scars the unborn and abused; turn away from such.
Dividing the Land: Gathering for Judgment (Joel 3:1-2)
Joel foretells the trial for scattering Israel and dividing its land:
“In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land.”
Clarity and Impact: Restoration (v. 1) to gathering (v. 2), “Jehoshaphat” (Yahweh judges) as the site—the charge is scattering/dividing (bāqa‘, splitting naḥălāh, Genesis 17:19-21’s Isaac covenant). Link to Zechariah 12:3’s immovable Jerusalem and Revelation 16:16’s Armageddon.
Tie to Islam’s Apostasy: The 157 nations’ “Palestinian” recognition and Trump’s board divide the land, fulfilling Joel’s prophecy. Islam’s denial of the Son (Quran 4:171) fuels this scattering—Hagar’s children persecute (Galatians 4:29), but the covenant endures.
The Apostasy of Denying the Son: The Unholy Counter (1 John 2:18-23)
John warns of deceivers denying Jesus as the Christ:
“Dear children, this is the last hour; and as you have heard that the antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come. This is how we know it is the last hour. They went out from us, but they did not really belong to us. For if they had belonged to us, they would have remained with us; but their going showed that none of them belonged to us. But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and all of you know the truth. I do not write to you because you do not know the truth, but because you do know it and because no lie comes from the truth. Who is the liar? It is whoever denies that Jesus is the Christ. Such a person is the antichrist—denying the Father and the Son. No one who denies the Son has the Father; whoever acknowledges the Son has the Father also.”
Clarity and Impact: The last hour (v. 18), antichrists’ departure (v. 19), anointing’s truth (v. 20-21), and denial’s cost (v. 22-23, antichristos against/instead of Christ). The lie (pseudos) denies the Son; acknowledgment brings the Father.
Tie to Land Division and Islam’s Apostasy: Islam’s denial of Christ’s divinity (Quran 4:171) is the antichrist spirit, “going out from us” (early influences on Muhammad). The bondwoman’s line, in its apostasy, claims Gaza’s land (57% withdrawal), but the inheritance is Isaac’s—Joel 3:2’s trial gathers the dividers.
Paul’s Galatians 4 allegory exposes the land division as the bondwoman’s futile claim—no inheritance for Ishmael’s line (Genesis 17:19-21), only 12 princes (Genesis 25:13-16) in hostility (Genesis 16:12), cast out by the free woman’s promise (Galatians 4:30). Islam’s apostasy, denying Christ (1 John 2:22), aligns with this, leading the bondwoman’s fruit to claim Gaza’s land (57% withdrawal, 66,000+ dead)—Joel 3:2’s trial gathers the dividers. Pray for the remnant to proclaim the Son’s freedom. Deus Vult!!!
I was raised Catholic. I sent my 4 daughters to a Sacred Heart School.
My maternal grandmother who was a devout Catholic, as was my paternal grandmother, advised I not take confession from a priest and said that priests should be allowed to marry, because it’s not normal for a man to be celibate. She advised I ask God directly for guidance.
I no longer believe in any organized patriarchal religion and I’ve studied several world religions.
When you exclude women from positions of leadership and influence, you are going against the sacred vessels/women given the task of birthing humanity.
All organized religions are designed to control and disempower us. We do not need intermediaries to our creator.
Your writing is excellent and you expose a great deal, but please consider the sordid history of violence, killing, raping and stealing the Catholic Church has done in the name of God. That’s not something I can accept under any circumstances, especially the mass murdering of Indigenous babies and children, the raping of nuns, rampant child sexual and other abuse, and the Spanish Inquisition where they murdered and then stole Jewish riches which are held in the Vatican.
These problems, which you have identified, will continue as long as the laity continue "paying, praying, and obeying" without demanding accountability on the part of the closeted Lavender Mafia currently leading very docile, weak, and naive Catholics.
Bishops have to be included in my forthcoming book, "B*tch Set Me Up, From Adam To Marion Barry!" My unauthorized understanding teaching of the Catholic Church is that if you disagree on ANY SINGLE ONE of the list of key Church teachings regarding faith and morals you have taken yourself out of God's One Holy Apostolic and Catholic Church! I do my imperfect best to follow ALL of those key teaching except one; I refuse to follow bad, hence invalid, rulership of faithless rulers. Yes, I recognize that that nauseating simpleton is now occupying the chair of peter. But, no, I refuse to accept that he is in charge of me! It is just like I acknowledge the reality of Red China but, no, I do not accept the legitimacy of its bad governance. Fake pope, fake bishops, you can go to hell! Yes, I pray for your redemption but God has allowed you to be in charge in order to punish us the faithless. And I do cling to the leadership of the handful of faithful bishops.
Fake Church continues to put itself out of business! Real Church continues as promised, nearly hidden amidst the chaos. I'm heading towards SSPX as my safety net. Even EWTN continues its collapse from what Mother St. Angelica intended it. "New management" continues its slide as it cuts prayers in favor of commercials, becoming even more sickly 'folksy' in its overly emotional approach to conversion. "Were she still alive, she'd be spinning in her grave!"
Not really. I have NEVER read the use of the word "avoid". Maybe the Douay version. But every translation I have ever read over 65 years has read GO AND SIN NO MORE. Avoiding sin is a cop out. Otherwise, I like your exposures of the sins in the RCC I don't think anyone else is as daring or as honest as you.
Reading these accounts of priest sexual abuse are as unpleasant as reading gruesome descriptions of a horrible disfiguring disease that no normal healthy person would want to know about. Until, that is, the disease comes into their lives in some way. Take heart Father. You are like the prominent oncologist nobody wants to meet, even though you might save their life.
Yes, Rome is no longer Catholic. We may live to see a holy pope restored to the Vatican as part of the Great Awakening. The coming years are shaping up to be potentially the most turbulent in history. At the end of it will emerge the purified Church, professing the True Faith.
Many Bishops do not even know or care what pro-life is and what it entails. For they do not believe in God. They do not know God. Most reject and hate the idea of a Loving, Powerful, Merciful, Just, Loving God because that would make them responsible and answerable to the power and the judge.
For if these men believed they would be on their knees praying the great Cross Christ has given them they will bear well and, in His name, and for Him. Rather they see being appointed a Bishop elevates them to the status of an elite, not the servant of God’s people and the servant to our Lord. Pray for their souls and their ignorance and hubris are placing them in grave and enteral danger.
A late colleague of mine (whose father was a Russian PhD in engineering and had fled the USSR during the 1920’s with the help of an English diplomat) in his old age converted back to the Russian Orthodox Church. He told me that the Orthodox Bishops encouraged seminarians to get married before going to seminary. (I don’t remember whether his Russian Orthodox Church was Orthodox Church in America or one still in union with Moscow.). I have not looked at your substack in quite awhile, but it seems to me that this policy might be a good one because if young men entering seminary are married and have a good marriage, then they certainly would not be as vulnerable for grooming as young men who had never kissed a girlfriend or a date goodnight when taking her home.
But I have learned that in the academic world homosexuals with power tend to abuse it.
Oooh-rahh Sir, great post and bless you for your integrity and clarity, Semper Fi Brother

None of them were ever real Catholics. Most of them don’t even have valid Holy Orders or episcopal consecration. Yes, I’m a Sede.

Holland shows that things were much worse before Christ.
Thank you, James. I currently have to read seven books and several studies for a training I’m taking, but I will keep it in mind!
If you can just read the first 25 or so pages about how pre-Christian societies behaved. They were brutal and no one thought it wrong.
I ordered the book but I have to read seven or eight other books 1st! I have deadlines thank you so much.
I’m not bashing Christianity. It’s the Catholic Church. I have an issue with. But I still know we all have a direct connection to our creator.
Okay. Go your own way. Bye!
Triggered? It’s all true as God is my witness!

If they like playing “pro-life what-aboutism,” they had better be prepared for critiques like this…

I also think several of them are pedophiles or homosexuals hiding in the church.
The exact quote is “neither do I condemn you go and sin no more” not “avoid” sin.
I changed it from "avoid this sin" to "sin no more," It all depends on what biblical translation one is using,
Douay Rheims: "And Jesus said: Neither will I condemn thee. Go, and now sin no more."
I checked all translations on Bible Hub: no 'avoid' in any of them!
Thanks for doing the research.
